Build a repeatable baseline

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends a gentle, non-abrasive cleanser and advises limiting face washing to twice daily and after sweating. Scrubbing harder is not the same as cleaning better and can irritate skin.

  • Morning: gentle cleanse if needed, moisturizer, then sunscreen.
  • Evening: gentle cleanse and moisturizer.
  • Introduce only one optional product at a time and stop if irritation develops.

Take sun protection seriously

AAD guidance recommends a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. Apply it before outdoor exposure and reapply as directed, especially after swimming or sweating.

Know when an app is not the answer

A photo-based appearance tool cannot diagnose acne, rosacea, dermatitis, or other medical conditions. If a skin concern is persistent, painful, changing, or affects your quality of life, consult a board-certified dermatologist.

LooksMax offers appearance-oriented coaching, not dermatological diagnosis or treatment.
